Everyday emotion and affective responses in European societies
Ruhoollah Akhundzadeh
This PhD project intends to reveal how people decide to avoid or approach different people/situations in their everyday life and how they interpret social situations. Measuring automatic-physiological responses together with ethnography allows us to obtain a deep level of understanding regarding people’s emotions and orientations. Unlike typical emotion studies, this PhD would use a social stimuli/video to trigger people’s emotion and no emotional-cognitive video is used. Besides, the stimulus/video will be presented in a 360-degree environment, and this is another feature of this PhD which makes it even more interesting.
This PhD constitutes the Psycho-physiological part of the EmergentCommunity project.
