Universal Basic Services as an eco-social policy for a sustainable welfare

The thesis presents the theoretical discussion on UBS and the links with public services and provides empirical cases from different European countries. The main interest behind the thesis lays in further developing the field of eco-social policy and sustainable welfare. More specifically, Alessia´s research interest revolves around how to move from current welfare states to sustainable welfare by analysing policy options discussed in sustainability research and bridging them to the currently available policy instruments.
